When Emma was a teenager her Father put her out on her own, gave her a little money to start a company and said, sink or swim, it makes no difference to me. She started Frost Enterprises which is an aerospace company and she eventually put her Father out of business. Of course, her telepathy gave her an edge in business matters. After crushing her Father's business, she was approached by Chastity Darkholme, who asked her to join the Crimson Court. Chastity was impressed by Emma's ruthlessness when it came to family and thought Emma would make a good addition to her court. Emma joined the Crimson Court as Headmistress and after the loss of the Hellions, she followed Chastity to the White Court. Emma didn't really fit in there but it was a change of scenery and she made the best of it. One day she met her friend Kyle and one of the new Hellions, Alex, while out shopping. Emma and Alex had had various love affairs in the past. Kyle had tried to talk to her several times in the past about joining the Blue Hellfire Club but only after seeing Alex Constantine did she approached Steven about joining. Of course, she soon realized that getting back together with Constantine wasn't going to happen but she still enjoys the BLHC. Everyone is like a family and that is something she desires, a real family. Emma's diamond form is a reflection of her life and how she was brought up, cold and hard. The only one currently who knows of this form is Steven, the Blue King. When threatened, Emma's body automatically shifts into the diamond form in which she no longer can use her telepathy but she is still immune to other telepaths as well. She also becomes cold and without feelings or emotions. This, of course, can lead her to do things that she later regrets.
